Like, on the phone...because I am old school, ok? I might send you a lot of text messages. Sorry not sorry...this is how I stay organized. I also have ADHD. The best creatives do.
I do require a quick phone consult with every wedding and boudoir client. They last about 15-20 minutes. Easy peasy.
Why? Really I just want to make sure you're not weird. You probably want to make sure the same thing about me, right?
No really though, let's make sure we are comfortable from the start. Let's make sure all of your questions are answered and what I offer is super transparent.
We will make sure it's worth it for me to book with you....ooopsie. I mean that I am worth booking with, of course! I am...I promise. 😉
All realness aside, with something as personal as your wedding day or a boudoir session, being comfortable with each other is my ultimate goal.

I am a real person. I mess up. I cuss and I say stupid shit....a lot.
I might actually miss a dip because I was standing on the wrong side of the dance floor. Then I might actually make you do it again. It happens to the best of us.
Guess what? Your wedding is real too...and it might not be 100% perfect. It's ok if not everything is, I promise, things do go wrong. But....
I'm the photographer who helps manage the small chaotic moments. I'll adjust the time line when needed. I'll work family photos around the aunt who ran late.
I've repaired a broke bustle, fixed an up-do, and helped a groomsmen sober up just before speeches - dude seriously chill on the whiskey before noon.
I have a wedding day emergency kit for this, really.
Small things go wrong. Things get left behind or misplaced. Guest arrive late.
Perfectly planned timelines run behind. The music freezes. Weather changes.
You know what? It’s going to be amazing....Probably THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to do so many fun things. Venue coordinator and studio manager to photo booth technician, senior photographer and sales specialist, newborn photographer in a hospital, and working in a framing department.
Each role has taught me something valuable about people, celebrations, photography, and the little details that make an experience memorable. While I’ve loved every part of the journey, it has always led me back to weddings and I truly love it here.

When I’m not at a wedding or photographing portraits, you’ll probably find me traveling or somewhere near the water. I love the ocean most of all, but honestly, just about any body of water will make me happy.
Random fact: I’m deep-water certified in scuba diving and have been to a shipwreck and a plane wreck.
I’m a true summer girl and have spent most of my life growing up on a lake in Michigan. Give me sunshine, warm evenings, and water close by, and I’m happy. I love riding my stand-up jet ski, tubing behind our family boat, and slalom skiing whenever I can.
My list of places to visit is always growing, and so far I’ve had the opportunity to photograph couples in 9 different states and 1 foreign country. I’d happily add a few more stamps to my passport.
Most importantly, I’m a mom to a sweet and sassy girl, and that will always be my favorite job of all. I'm a cool mom.
A few things that will always make me smile: black cherry everything, iced coffee, volleyball, the ocean, traveling, summer days, and a good adventure.
