Venues
There are a few things that come to mind when you’re considering picking your wedding venue: natural light, overall ambiance, and having space to get ready, take photos and party, all in one place.
Lighting – do I need to say more? The more light the better! We as your photographer will thank you and you won’t get any weird dark photos of those important memories and precious moments from your special day. Memories happen fast, they cant always be recreated, you’ll appreciate them being photographed and showing you in your best light!
Overall ambiance is most important as well. If you’re not loving the love the look of your venue, you’re going to spend more money on everything else trying to make yourself love it. Our favorite venues are simple and don’t need much to make the couple’s vision come to life, saving your time, energy and money!

Trying to find the perfect vendors for your special day can be a little bit stressful…
As a vendor with over 14 years of experience, I’ve been around….I have worked with soooo many amazing vendors and it’s so hard to keep track of them all. So, we hope it helps you to share some of our favorite Michigan venues & vendors with you…and maybe some Ohio ones too! We are so close to both states and have our favorites in each!

- Irish Hills Wedding Barn: One of Michigan’s Premier Wedding Venues. Located in the heart of the Irish hills in Brooklyn, MI. We LOVE working here as this venue has everything. 5 gorgeous ceremony sites to choose from…a beautiful getting-ready space and a sunset over the pond to end your day. an elegant, rustic wedding venue that is unforgettable.
- Forty-Nine South: is a very neat old school converted into a modern wedding venue in Jackson, Michigan. We’re so obsessed with this venue, the amazing attention to detail, the natural light, and the unique layout and function of this venue is just perfection!

- –The Collins Off Main & The Clock Tower: is an amazing wedding venue in Chelsea, Michigan, just outside the Ann Arbor / Detroit area. Although we have only had a la carte flowers picked up for this venue, we are dreaming of getting there in person because all the photos are amazing and there is a second venue opening too!
- Eyry of the Eagle: Situated in the heart of Grass Lake, just 20 minutes west of Ann Arbor and east of Jackson, this private modern farm setting offers a unique backdrop for your perfect day. Their photo-famous tall pine trees at the back of the property make this one of our favorite locations.
- Art 634 – The Carriage Factory: This venue has a ton of charm, and historic vibes, with exposed brick walls and moody lighting. They also have smaller spaces to rent to add to your day starting at $25/hour.
- Glasshouse: Located in Grand Rapids and although we haven’t worked here yet, it’s definitely on our bucket list. I mean it’s a greenhouse! So obviously, we need to shoot a wedding here!
- Zingerman’s Cornman Farms: Another BUCKET LIST Venue. Just outside Ann Arbor in Dexter, MI. Has space to get ready, as well as spaces for the ceremony and reception. It can easily adapt to any aesthetic you’re going for! The natural light at this venue looks so dreamy!
Ohio Venues
- The Stables: Whitehouse OH is the host of the gorgeous modern barn-like venue, with the ambiance from a photographer’s dream. We love to make a short trip over the border and love photographing our clients here!
- Nazareth Hall – Another Ohio venue very different from a barn – If you are looking for a classy venue…this is it! No words are necessary when you take a look at the images from this place! It has so many options for ceremony and reception sites. We can’t wait to photograph another wedding or event here!!!
